Edcouch, TX / 2006 - 12 Days of Christmas series. The Garcia family - Martina, 42, Juvencio, 41, Juvencio Jr., 16, Andres, 13 and Marcos, 1 1/2 years old - live in a school bus that has been converted into a home near FM 1925 in Edcouch. A small shed is attached for additional space. Martina has liver cancer, which spread from her colon. She undergoes chemotherapy, which leaves her sick and weak. Juvencio must tend to the toddler, leaving him unable to work regularly and provide for the family. Here, Martina walks out the door of her "house" - a renovated school bus.
